A TIP doesn't have to mean that you have solid proof or evidence about a crime committed.
Perhaps, you work with someone who talks about a murder victim and it makes you feel strange..... Maybe they just bring up odd facts....... Or, you saw or heard something - in just casual talk, and it gave you a wierd feeling. All of these things could mean nothing. Then again they could mean something. Please, if there is anything "a tip" let the police hear the information and they can check it out. You do not have to tell anyone your name.
