A fight during a party  in the 500 block of Heckman's Court, an alley near 11th and Mulberry Streets, involving mostly teenagers claimed the life of Cesar Rivera and injured two others.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 17 year old male.

DA Adams told 69 News that the suspect arrived uninvited and some sort of disturbance broke out. Three different witnesses identified the suspect as the gunman, according to an arrest warrant.
Cesar was killed, two others were injured.

City teen held for court in fatal shooting at party
"The testimony is that there was one gun and one shooter at the scene, that there were 10 shell casings all from the same gun and all found in the same place"

At the hearing Monday, Assistant District Attorney Melissa Noyes asked Scott to add an attempted murder charge after doctors told Reading police that Perez still has a bullet lodged in his upper spine and is permanently paralyzed from the neck down.
"He cannot speak or move his head," said Criminal Investigator John Carrasquillo, lead investigator in the case. "He can communicate a little bit by blinking his eyes yes or no."
