Police said they are looking for a dark-skinned man, possibly a Jamaican, 5 feet 9 inches with a medium build.

Investigators said the man should be considered armed and dangerous and that anyone who encounters him should call 9-1-1.

Anyone with information to help police identify the suspect should call city detectives at 610-655-6246 or the desk sergeant at 610-655-6116 or Berks Crime Alert.

Bastien's killer knocked on his door, spoke to his wife, then fired several shots after a conversation with Bastien on the street, investigators said.

"I firmly believe that there are people out there who have information," D A Adams said.
"Why they don't come forward is difficult to comprehend."
