Two killed, one wounded in shooting

Reading Police were called to the 300 Block of Pear Street for a report of a fight at 11:52 p.m. Friday night.

Two people were pronounced dead on the scene. A third was transported to a local hospital, according to police.

Geovanie Collazo-Rosa, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said  Efrain Lopez-Collazo, 51, was declared dead at Reading Hospital. A third person was transported to a local hospital, according to police.

Police have just announced the arrests of two men in connection with the shooting deaths of two people and the wounding of a third over the weekend.

Romanic dispute led to killings, police say
Suspects in double homicide sent to prison without bail
Two Cousins were charged with first- and third-degree murder, attempted homicide and related offenses in the Friday night shooting deaths of Geovanie Collazo-Rosa, 23, and Efrain Lopez-Collazo, 51, and the shooting of Enrique Lopez-Collazo.



The dispute started two weeks earlier when someone looked at someone else's girlfriend and danced with her during a gathering at a house in the block. When her boyfriend later found out what happened he confronted the neighbors. The dispute escalated and ended in the shootings.

Cousins held in Reading killings
The 28 and 19 year old cousins were charged with first-and third-degree murder, attempted homicide and firearms offenses.
