James W. Hower 1998 Berks County Murder
James W. Hower
James was a Husband,
Father of six children,
Stabbed to death
in his own home,
in front of his family,
while trying to protect
a house guest.
 
James was trying to get a father and son
out of his house,
when they came looking for a house guest.
"I've got to ask you guys to leave,
I got six kids in the house"
He walked the men to the front door
where they stabbed him.

James was stabbed twice in the abdomen and 
died about 3 hours later.
