John drove his car to Fourth and Woodward Streets late Saturday or early morning Sunday.
What happened next remains a mystery.
A passerby called 911 @ 2:47AM Sunday February 3rd, 2002 to report John lying dead in the parking lot, near his car, bleeding from a gunshot wound to the chest.

City Police ask for help in murder investigation
Investigators have not been able to trace John's where-abouts in the 24 hours before his death. If you saw John, or have any information Please help!
Police say that John was not robbed. There was no damage to his car. Patrons in a nearby bar said that John wasn't inside the establishment.
What happened to John????
Was he there to meet someone? Was there an argument?
Why would someone shoot John?
