He was always the first person to call to help with anything... with anything. Lara's family describes him as a fun person, very friendly to everyone he knew. He was just genuinely a nice person.
Julio was shot once in the chest about 9:15 pm as he stood outside La Isla Del Encanto bar at 338 N. Sixth St. talking with the owner of the tavern.
