Leroy Lott 65 Murdered 11/15/1995
Leroy Lott
Leroy had just cashed a $800.00
Social Security Check.
Someone entered his first floor apartment in the
1400 Block of Fairview Street
through an unlocked door
and repeatedly hit him with a club.
His money was taken from his pockets.

Man critical after holdup
Leroy died of severe head injuries
including a fractured skull two weeks later...
And his killer is still free.

The assailant was described as white,
about 6 feet and 200 pounds,
with brown hair, police said.
Lott gave the description to police
before he became unconscious from the beating.


Leroy wasn't the only man assaulted and killed during
this time frame. Bernard Kendraski 78, assaulted 
& robbed @ 5th & Spruce Streets on August 10, 1995

AND on March 20th, 1995 Samuel Bixler 82 suffered
a head injury in a robbery and beating by three men
on South 4th Street.
