Louise Weyant Murdered 4/8/1993

For 12 long years her
                family waited for answers.............
Louise was raped and murdered
  She was found April 9, 1993 —
Nearly covered with
five large rocks
 at the base of the
 Penn Street Bridge
Now Finally Justice is to be served

"My sister was so sweet and kind.
She was compassionate and understanding.”

July 2005 police submitted DNA samples from the
crime scene to a state police DNA database.
An Arrest was made.
Maybe now Louise and her family
can find some peace.
A long road to Justice.

Louise Weyandt killer admits guilt in 1993 rape and murder.
November 6, 2007 Guilty plea entered after 14 years.
"He got angry at Weyandt
and hit her with a rock
after she denied him sex."

Judge Yatron ordered Louise's killer to undergo a Megan’s law evaluation to determine if he is a violent sexual predator.

If it’s determined that he is, Louise's killer will be required to undergo counseling and register his address
with state police for the rest of his life.
What part of this am I missing?
Determine if an admitted killer who walked free for

14 years is a violent sexual predator?
Register His address?
Prison
The law forbids him to waive the evaluation and
scheduled sentencing in February.
Megan's Law is Great,
but it needs to have some common sense amended!
In this case it is prolonging sentencing of a killer
who has been free far too long.

in the death of Louise M. Weyandt.
“We waited for 14 years for this day.”
NOW the Victim's have to wait again!

Prison ordered in Reading
rape, murder

The killer will die in prison
because he has terminal cancer,
his lawyer says.

# lawyer, P. David Maynard of Reading,
said the length of the sentence
does not matter.

“Whatever happened today (Monday)
doesn’t make a difference because
my client has cancer and is expected
to die within six months,” Maynard said.

Mr. Maynard I beg to differ with you.
Your client raped & murdered a woman.
He brutally took her life and hid it for 12 long years.
Louise had a life and has a family.
They are the victims, not your client.
It does matter what went on today very much so.
Brenda
