Lucy Born
83 years old
February 19, 2011

Lucy was a past president of the Women’s Club of Wyomissing Hills. She was a volunteer for 20 years for the Reading and Berks County Meals on Wheels program.

She was a 1946 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was married to her husband for 59 years. Their devotion to each other was known to all who knew them.

Lucy will be missed by all who knew her.

Lucy and her husband were attacked with a hammer inside their home @ Stone Hill Farms, a development off Paper Mill Road, Spring Twp.

"There is absolutely no known motive," Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams said at a news conference. "This was a senseless act of violence perpetrated on an elderly couple."
