Michael moved to Reading from New York when he was seventeen years old. The name on his drivers license was Ivan Piris. His friend's new him as "Swift". Michael told investigators at the hospital,that he knew the shooters.
Perez had been listed by police as Ivan Matias or Ivan Matias - Piris He was shot at Church and Woodward Sts as he and three friends got into his SUV after leaving the CP Club on N. 6th Street. Two men approached the drivers side of the vehicle and fired 20 shots.
Perez was hit by four of them.

I will never understand, how one can watch their friend be killed, and NOT do something to put an end to the violence. These people will kill again.
