Mireya was a eighth grade student at Northeast Middle School. She lived with her mother & four sisters.

By the time Mireya L. Rosario’s body was found June 2, it was too late for experts to determine a cause and manner of death, the coroner says.

After months of tests, city teenager’s death remains a mystery
Authorities believe Mireya died shortly after being reported missing on April 29, 2002.
She was found dead on the basement steps of her city row house on Fidelity Street.
Police do not believe she was a victim of crime.
Police would like to find anybody who was with her at the time she disappeared.
