Miriam went missing on the night of Christmas Eve 2005. As her family waited for her on Christmas, Miriam never returned. Miriam a mother of two was last seen at The Little Brown Jug on Lancaster Avenue, Reading between 9 pm and midnight.

She was in the company of a male who she argued with inside the bar & outside on the sidewalk.
