Richard A. "Slim" Rowe Murdered 4/5/1986
25 Years in Search of Justice

Richard A. "Slim" Rowe
was murdered inside his
Lancaster Avenue Home
April 5th, 1986.
He was beaten and stabbed 3 times in the chest with a cylindrical object before he was strangled with an electrical cord.
 
Police believe Rowe was duped into answering the front door
by one of the killers.
Rowe's body was discovered in the kitchen of the first - floor apartment the next day by a neighbor and a member of the victim's family.
Police speculated that Rowe, a local gambling figure was killed
because of the large amount of cash he kept with him.

Time becomes the enemy
of murder investigations.
