Rodney was shot several times in the head about 12:30 a.m. while in the second floor bedroom after two gunman came into the home after two pet dog's were left outside.
Police said there was some minor ransacking in the home and, it could have been a robbery. Rodney died of multiple gunshot wounds to his head.
