The Reading Police are Investigating.
Police hope people once afraid to talk about the 1996 slaying of William R. Almanzar because of their own legal problems will come forward.

A Decade Later Police are asking for information to hold William's killer accountable.
“The thing that stands out about this case is the victim actually predicted his death”
A guest heard Almanzar answer a knock on the door. A short time later, He heard Almanzar say, “Oh, my God, they’re here to kill me.” Police initially believed the cause of death was multiple stab wounds they had found in his back. But an autopsy revealed Almanzar died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
