A birthday party in Muhlenberg Township turned deadly 7/13/2008 when a 22-year-old township man, Kristoffer Schildt, was fatally stabbed by another man. Schildt may have been acting as a peacemaker when he was stabbed. "All our indications are that he was a great kid," Muhlenberg police Chief Erik P.Grunzig said.
